It's been suggested by treborlions that a Leicester side be the Brandon visitors on the 14th. Who thinks this is a good idea & who would you have representing The Lions?
I'll start you off with Leics resident David Howe

ME. ME!
It's a great idea and I hope the Coventry promotion will seriously consider it now there are only 8 other E.L. teams to ride against this season.
David Howe is ideal because he is a local rider, but to tackle the Bees Leicester would need boosting by the presence of some good guests. I wonder what A.J. is doing that day?
Adam Lowe is also from Leicester and I'm sure would make a reasonable reserve. |

AJ is riding in a CS fixture for Lakeside Janet, but i'm sure our title winning skipper would love to do it.
Mr Steele should be the ref of course. _________________ Give our Booey an MBE, you know he deserves it.

Don't have a scooby about who rides and comes from/lives in Leicester, except possibly BJ, and I guess he would be in our team. I personally would have thought Birmingham would have been a more realistic option as they are at least a real team, albeit in the premier league. Maybe a Brummies select side with a couple of Elite league guests to beef them up a bit would fit the bill, I gather that the Brummies do have Elite league ambitions so it would give them a taste of thing possibly to come. _________________ Lets try to get a bit of interest going on here!!!!!! |

Birmingham is another good suggestion.
AS for their EL aspirations though, they'll have to do that without our Adam. _________________ Give our Booey an MBE, you know he deserves it.

Kings Lynn as PL champs would be a good option. Maybe bring Nicki P in as a guest for the stars.... |

My 1st thought as i have said on weird is that The Tigers aren't showing much faith in their own reserves by replacing with EL guests at Brandon, the play off at the end of the season, should they get there will not allow them to do so. That apart an interesting contest, but one that Bees SHOULD register a win in for both legs, seeing the boys v Compton at Owlerton will be interesting though. _________________ Give our Booey an MBE, you know he deserves it.

well I'd have stuck with my own riders to be honest...Richard Hall and Tai Woffinden..
I don't know ,but I have a feeling we shouldn't under estimate the Sheffield riders, especially at home. |
