as expected an easy win for the bees who really didn't have to do anything special to secure the points. aces had screen, wright and fisher struggling but steady performances from stead, doolan and scornicki stopped the bees from dishing out the rout that many had antcipated.
for the bees schlein seemed under power and slow from the start, and both reserves failed to shine. harris still struggled from the start but had tremendous power and went through the card to another paid maximum. nicholls was soundly beaten by a fast starting stead in heat 1, but then went through the rest of the meeting never headed.
