a good meeting for the neutral, with only a few engine failures costing the visiting pirates from an upset. nicholls started with a win over world champion crump, and continued through the meeting reeling off 3 further victories, including a great peice of team riding with billy janniro in heat 10. janniro was rather unproductive with exception of heat 10. risager failed to pruduce the results of the previous two brandon meetings, whlst smolinski continued to dissappoint, still unsure wether it's due to machinery or an injury. both schlein and allen scored well without being spectacular. for the visitors crump had engine failure in heat 13 whilst leading exiting the 2nd bend of the first lap, although this alone may not have effected the result, then for pirates batchelor retired in the same place as crump in the following heat 14, although he was trailing at the time.
all in all 2 more points for the bees to keep them unbeaten in the elite league after 3 meetings. |
