i wasn't at the meeting but here aremy views from the couch whilst watching sky sports.

bees looked a lot sharper from the trap tonight, but oxford looked awful so i am not reading too much into the gating from the bees boys.
rory rode well and twice took 5-1 heat wins with martin smolinski, who had his best meeting of the season. both bees reserves were busy tonight following a heat 3 accident involving olly allen who withdrew from the meeting with what is reported to be a shoulder injury. scott was fast all night or so he looked until heat 15 when bomber showed him a clean pair of heels. so paid maximums for scott, bomber and rory gave the bees a great platform to build on for next fridays crunch battle at brandon against reigning champs peterborough.
